Deeper. Deeper. Deeper.
More. More. More.
Blood.
He couldnt get over the feeling that cutting caused.
Such a sweet release is what he would describe it as.
Not a suicide attempt.
Just mearly a release.
Something to help him feel as if he were sane.
But when in reality he was far from it.
Every day was the same.
Go to school.
Maybe have an insult of two directed at him.
He would simply ignore them though.
Those people weren't worth his time.
They didn't care about him.
They never had and never would.
He had friends.
His friends knew about the cutting.
But never showed concern.
Maybe they saw it as a new trend.
Atleast that's what it was starting to because.
All the little emo's of his school were cutting and claiming to be depressed.
There life was not so horrible and neither was his.
But he felt he needed to drag that razor across his arm, to give him that feeling that it only could procude.
He was loved at home but yelled at for little things.
Trivial things.
But sometimes trivial things seemed all of the importance to his father.
"You didn't dust your closet door like I told you to!"
His father would growl and he himself could feel his heart starting to rattle uneasily in his chest.
He was terrified of his father.
His father had a very short fuse.
He was set to go off at any moment.
But his mother was one of the most amazing women you would ever meet.
She was sweet and watched out for her baby boy.
If he didnt clean his room his mom would do it for him while he was at school.
She didn't want to hear her husband complain and nag about things anymore so she simply set out to fix them before he got the chance.
The boy's family consisted of one more member.
His sister.
She was three years older than himself.
They got along fairly well.
Except for the casual bickering that sometimes happened, they were just fine.
The real issue was the boys love life.
Many a time he had a girl friend but they were always on the skanky side.
So he decided he'd move onto boys for a while and see how that worked out.
He knew he had to keep it hidden from his family for his father was a raging homophobe, even though he was not a religious man. He felt strongly against the gay lifestyle.
But he wouldn't let his father's own issues mess up his life any longer.
He was determined to find out who he was and fix everything about himself that he didn't find attractive.
He was determined to become perfect.
